The hotel is on top of the restaurant Bistrot de La Marine and offers a fantastic view of the beach with a balcony. The weather was more than 30C every day but our room was nice and cool with the A/C. Our host, Nico, and all the staff (from the hosts to the chefs in the restaurant) were super nice and attentive. Our room was refreshed every day by the housekeeper and there was a mini fridge in the room, good Wi-fi, big TV, and a comfortable bed. The room was definitely better than we thought from the picture! There are lots of good restaurants and nightlife nearby and a nice shopping centre 30mins walk in St. Laurent du Var. The area is not central, which was even better as we avoided the crowded city centre, but still had easy transportation links to central Nice (2 stops by train) and Monaco (30mins on the same train). Other than that, you can also take a bus to St Paul du Vence or take a day trip to Cannes and Antibes, but you might be tempted to stay on the beach: enjoy the clear water and have drinks at the beach clubs or coffee and sweets in the boulangeries nearby.

This lovely home/resort enveloped me in hospitality and became a short term home for a lovely life of five days. Every moment was a delight. The breakfast can't be matched! Valerie and Frederick kindly solved problems and pointed me in the direction of three neighboring restaurants that were magnificent.. The town is fabulous, a short wasl away. The pool is heavenly. Great bedding in the room. I would happily go back.

Located in Cagnes-sur-Mer, 1.9 km from Renoir Museum, Le rêve bleu provides accommodation with free private parking, a garden and a terrace. All rooms include a balcony with garden views and free... the owners were very kind and very welcoming. they were also very helpful and flexible on time giving us great availability. the room is equipped with everything and is very very nice, it also has a beautiful covered veranda. chosen for the location near Nice it was very convenient and if we were to return to the area we will definitely return.

The hosts are very helpful to everything. they go out for their way to help you and advise you on what can be done in nice. In short they are the best hosts I have stayed with. thanks a ton to both of them. I will surely come back.

A warm welcome from François, the very kind host. We felt directly at home. It's a wonderful, peaceful place to be with breathtaking views. The next morning we had the best breakfast ever. A fabulous ‘petite’ hotel that has been beautifully renovated with some really nice design details . Rooms are spacious and comfortable . Location is perfect in a most stunning small town . Car park was only 3 minutes walk away …and free . We had a nice breakfast outside in narrow lane beside hotel . Would love to come back and stay longer .

Located in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, la maison aux bonsais offers free WiFi. All rooms boast a kitchen and a private bathroom. The accommodation provides a concierge service for guests. Luc's daughter-in-law Annabelle greeted us when we pulled up to the village walls to guide us to the Maison. It was so lovely to wake up in the morning, open our door and find fresh croissants or pain au chocolate waiting for us along with a fresh baguette. We had a super coffee maker with the coffee supplied. We were thrilled to open our fridge when we arrived and see it had been fully, thoughtfully stocked with bottled water, juice, jam, cheese, meats, all wonderful. Luc also presented us with a lovely bottle of wine we enjoyed.
